Writing the Trash well over a week after the event is putting something of a strain on my already faltering memory, but here goes...
Having assembled at the Silver Sands location in good time for a 10am start we all hung around chatting to long lost hashers who had stayed on from the 20th Anniversary celebrations. Eventually the Hares explained what we were supposed to be doing and set us off. Many were wearing gold and blue in celebration.
Now comes the hard part, trying to recall where we went. I remember we ran inland a bit, then on some streets, then as I was getting weary for a beer we came back to the coast line and then ON-IN past the Silver Sands hotel and back to the bar.
Now I know that doesn't really give you the full flavour of the beauty, the sweat, the views, but let's be honest we don't really do the Hash for that -- it's for the BEERS.
Now I do remember that the bar kept us well supplied with cold Banks Beer, I also recall that the RA was Kevin 'Full Monty' Harrison, I even remember that I got a Down-Down or two, but after that it's hazy again. I think I just limed under the trees with fellow Hashers, scrounging the odd morsel off the edge of someone's plate, but mostly drinking ice cold Banks, until it got dark and I staggered off down the road.
What a great way to celebrate Barbados's 39th Birthday!!!
Ed. - Scribes name has been withheld as he is pretty useless in writing Trashes and hopes he won't be asked again.
