Hash Trash -- Run 1168

HASH NO: 1168
VENUE: CGI Tower, Warrens
DATE: 14 January, 2006
HARES: Chris "If I May" Halsall & Ryan Blades
SCRIBE: David "The Honorable Elder" Wall and my disabled assistant, Quinda "Granny Walnut" Wall.

We set out from the vicinity of one of the busiest developing business communities, the CGI TOWER in Warrens.

Our hares Chris and Ryan gave us the send off and reassured us of no major dangerous road crossing which was a sigh of relief. Together they found trails and tracks that were of interest, and quite a surprise to find them in that type of area. We were kept running at a good pace, with a fairly difficult back-check to boot. Even though it was hot, there was a cool breeze, which kept the hashers cool enough to enjoy the run / walk.

A number of dogs of all shapes and sizes were on the trail, barking as usual to announce our unwanted presence, never the less we continued on the path with the usual shouts of On On.

On the trail we came across a Church building, a Bank, a playing field, each of which could assist us in our different areas depending on our particular needs. Yet not one Hasher took advantage of any of the services available. We were all kept busy with the winding course set out before us.

The down downs also had an interesting twist. A virgin was RA of the day, namely Stroke Alone, Alan Bullen from Victoria, BC, Canada. A job well done.

Yours truly was alleged to have been leading a pack of walkers, the charge was short cutting, only "The Honorable Elder" is supposed to get away with such behavior. Francie will agree with me there.

Was it a GREAT HASH or what? I say YES and On On.......
